Interview

For my Work experience i am going to LeftBank productions to work with everyone behind the set. I emailed these questions to the production designer, Hayden Matthews and these were the answers i got.

1. What is your job title? Production Designer
2. What are your main responsibilities? The look of the show. Not inc. Wardrobe ( but working with) and make-up.
3. Do you enjoy what you do? Yes. That's why I work such long hours and live away from my family.
4. How long have you worked at LeftBank productions? I work on a contract basis and so have been working on this production since February.
5. Where did you study? Worcester BTEC Art Foundation. Cardiff BA ( Hons) 3D Design.
6. What qualifications do you have? As above plus 2 years as an Architectural technician and 20 years as art dept. assistant,art director, designer.
7. Can you give any kind of advice to people who are wanting to go in to the industry? Work for free on the best job you can get on and look after the people as well as you can.
